Il Granaio is a two-room, ground-floor apartment and is located where the grain and farm tools were stored in the original farmhouse built in 1300. The structure and placement of this apartment keep it cool and comfortable during the warm summer months.

This large apartment is perfect for two people who desire the most in terms of comfort, space, and view.

The large, fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals: an oven with stovetop, a large travertine marble sink, and apartment-sized refrigerator. The cupboard is full of dinnerware, cookware, staples, and utensils. The living area includes a family-sized dining table.

A comfortable loveseat in the living area faces a beautiful brick and stone fireplace that creates a charming, cozy atmosphere.

The bedroom has a roomy queen-sized bed, a large closet with plenty of hanging space and hangers, and an antique dresser to accommodate your travel wear. Extra blankets and pillows are provided in the room. There is room to add a crib for those travelling with an infant.

It has a spacious bathroom complete with a shower that is wheelchair accessible. 

The screened windows have the farmhouse’s most stunning panoramic views overlooking the valley towards Pienza. A fan is available to you during the summer.  

The gorgeous terracotta tile floors and the tile and wood-beamed ceilings have been beautifully restored.
