L’Oliviera is a two-room, ground-floor apartment and is located where the cattle were stabled in the original farmhouse built in 1300.  The structure and placement of this apartment keep it cool and comfortable during the warm summer months.

This large apartment is perfect for two people who desire the most in terms of comfort, space and ambiance, or for two couples or a family that desire a comfortable apartment at a reasonable rate.

The living room has a spectacular arched window that overlooks the courtyard providing lots of light to the living area and deeply vaulted brick walls and coved ceiling.  A large, comfortable double sofa bed faces a magnificent, rounded fireplace, creating a luxurious space to enjoy yourself, or even some new friends, and to enjoy the good life of the Val d’Orcia.

L’Oliviera has a large, attractive separate kitchen area, and is perfect for those who enjoy cooking when relaxing on their vacations.  It is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals:  an oven with stovetop, a large travertine marble sink, and apartment-sized refrigerator.  The cupboard is full of dinnerware, cookware, staples, and utensils.  This tile and wood-beamed ceiling cucina includes a large dining table. 

The spacious, separate bedroom with beamed ceiling has a large queen-sized bed, an antique dressing table with mirror and lamp, and a large closet with lots of hanging space and plenty of hangers to accommodate your travel wear.  Extra blankets and pillows are provided in the room.  The bedroom has a window that overlooks the yard and garden, perfect for watching the children at play.

L’Oliviera has a small bathroom complete with shower that has been custom-designed to fit within the original contours of the farmhouse.  

For your comfort, all the windows have screens to let in the breeze and keep out the insects, and an electric fan is available during the summer.

The gorgeous terracotta tile floors and the tile and wood-beamed ceilings have been beautifully restored.
